Melissa Dental Hygienist

Melissa was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. She graduated with high honors from dental assisting school. She worked as a dental assistant, at Case Western Reserve University Dental School. She worked one-on-one with the dental students and enjoyed working in a educational setting. During her time at Case Western, Melissa knew she wanted to continue her education in the dental field. Once she and her soon to be husband Tony moved to Massachusetts, Melissa attended Middlesex Community College to fulfill her prerequisites for her dental hygiene degree. She then applied and was accepted to Mount Wachusett Community College for her dental hygiene degree. She graduated with honors and began working in a private practice in Groton Massachusetts until they moved to New York. Melissa really enjoys working in the dental field because she can relate to nervous/anxious patients. From 2 to 102 she enjoys treating all ages of patients. In her spare time, Melissa loves to try out new recipes and cook for her family and friends. She loves to take walks at the Taughannock State Park with her dog Tucker, attend pilates classes, and try out new restaurants. She enjoys seeing all kinds of movies and enjoys going to many different sporting events. She is avid about continuing her education to better serve her patients, takes many dental education courses and enjoys putting patients at ease in the dental chair.
